DeMarcus Ware (born DeMarcus Ware in Auburn, Alabama, on July 31, 1982) is an American professional football player for the Denver Broncos. He played college football at Troy in Troy, Alabama. In addition to playing both defense and offense in college, DeMarcus was also a track star. He was the 11th, first round draft pick, in 2005, by the Dallas Cowboys. DeMarcus spent nine seasons with the Cowboys as an outside linebacker where he racked up 117 quarterback sacks, a franchise record. In 2014, he signed a contract with the Denver Broncos. DeMarcus played in Super Bowl 50 as part of the 2015 AFC champion Bronco Team. He is a 9-time Pro Bowler and 2-time NFL sack leader.
